So much about photographing people is the connection you create between the photographer and the client. Mr. S. was incredible to photograph. Her comfort in front of the camera and her trust was all I needed to create these timeless boudoir photographs for her.

What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

The photoshoot! I had never gotten professional photos taken before and it was so much fun!

Did you have any hesitations about booking your session?

I was nervous that even getting professional photos done, I still wouldn’t be happy with the photos or feel confident in myself.

What advice would you give another woman looking to book a boudoir session?

Doubts will be natural, but it is such an incredible experience. You’ll think to yourself, ‘what if I don’t like the way I look in any of the photos?’, but I promise you when you get to see all of them you will have a hard time choosing which ones to put in your album. You will stare in disbelief that the woman in the photos is you. So treat yourself and maybe someone special,  you won’t have any regrets! 

What was the best part of working with Amber?

She makes you feel comfortable and is always checking to make sure you are happy with the poses, and talks you up the whole time! It makes you feel more confident which will show in the photos! 

Has this experience changed how you feel about yourself, and if so, how? Is your list of "What you love about your body?" longer now?

I realize that I am so hard on myself and that I need to stop focusing on the little marks, or a stomach roll because all together I am beautiful and that’s what Mr. T sees!
