When Allison walked in for her planning meeting, we bonded over her Black Panther face mask as my son is obsessed with him.

As we talked, it became clear that there were a few nerves coupled with excitement.

It's pretty common to be nervous, which is why planning meetings and prepare are so important.

When Allison came in for her shoot, I was so excited. She was beaming when she finally saw herself in the mirror with her hair and makeup done.

Hair and makeup are a crucial part of the process for a couple of reasons. 1. Being pampered is always a good feeling. 2. Feeling your best is the only way to start a boudoir session.

Everyone wants to know how my clients feel after their boudoir session so here are a few of her thoughts on the experience and process.

What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

To be quite honest, the whole process was my favorite. Every element was enjoyable which going into it I wasn’t so sure about. I loved getting my hair and make-up done and then the personal experience of the shoot itself. The pre-meeting, the actual day and then the reveal all of it!

Did you have any hesitations about booking your session? If yes, what were they?

I did because I simply wasn’t sure I would be comfortable and didn’t think I could “pull” it off. Additionally, cost came into play and what your offered for the money you are paying.

What advice would you give another woman looking to book a boudoir session?

Pull the plug and just do it, it will be the best experience ever.

What was the best part of working with Amber?

Her reassurance, sense of humor, Attention to detail and communication. She was so attentive to making sure everything was right (fixing hair, clothing etc).

Has this experience changed how you feel about yourself, and if so, how?

So much!! I am stunned at my photos like stunned and realize my image in my brain was so distorted like highly distorted.

What would you say to your girl friends about your experience?

Well all my friends are stunned and are figuring out a way to fly to CT to book a session with you!
